Complete In-game Event Guide and Information for the Gran Saga: Unlimited 1st Community Test
Your complete guide to important details and in-game events during the GSU 1st Test
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has shown interest in the Gran Saga: Unlimited 1st Community Test. This test is our first opportunity to share the game we are currently developing with the community, and we’re just as excited as you are!
We plan to increase the scale of the Gran Saga: Unlimited tests, in both total number of testers and features, in the future, so if you were unable to participate in this 1st test, you can have a chance to play in the next test!
Gran Saga: Unlimited Basic Game Guide

Important Notices for the GSU 1st Community Test
- Gran Saga: Unlimited is a Windows PC game, and you can only test the game using a Windows PC. For detailed system requirements including hardware specs, please visit https://metapixel.io.
- In some countries with restrictions on blockchain game services, access to the game may be restricted. These countries include China and South Korea.
- For the 1st Community Test, please note that the game will be in English only.
- However, you will be able to freely communicate in various languages in the in-game chat. Some languages may not be fully supported by the in-game language packs and may result in improper text display.
- Blockchain-related functions will not be available in the GSU 1st Community Test.
- In-game progression data, such as character levels and items, from the 1st Community Test will be reset after the end of the test, and will not be carried forward to future versions of the game.
- We will conduct an exit survey after the 1st Community Test is finished. Your feedback will help us make the game even better during development, and we would appreciate your participation.

Event #1 - Be a Pioneer
Event Description
Participate in the 1st Community Test of Gran Saga: Unlimited and reach Level 15 with your character!
Event Period
- 02:00 UTC 03/24/2023 – 02:00 UTC 03/27/2023
How to Participate
1) Complete prerequisite quest — [Event] Welcome to the 1st Community Test
2) Talk to NPC Lucas Ko and accept the quest [Be a Pioneer]
3) Reach Level 15
4) Return to Lucas Ko and talk to him to complete quest
[Event Rewards]
1) Guaranteed spot in the 2nd Community Test of GSU
2) Exclusive character title [Pioneer] in full release of GSU
3) (In-game Quest Reward) 1x METAPIXEL(Quest item)
4) (In-game Quest Reward) 3x Moro’s Surprise Keys
Notes
• Event completion is only recognized if the [Be a Pioneer] quest is completed in-game.
• Access to participate in the 2nd Test and the exclusive [Pioneer] title will be granted to the METAPIXEL account that participated in the 1st Community Test.
How to Level Up in GSU
1) Complete main quests
2) Complete sidequests e.g. by interacting with NPCs
3) Complete Gran Saga scenario quests
4) Defeat monsters in fields
5) Defeat monsters in dungeons
Event #2 — The Epic Showdown with Super Mumu King
Event Description
Dimensional anomaly detected in the sky over Ragnadea! It seems that someone is deliberately creating rifts in the dimension to transport Super Mumu King inside Ragnadea!
Move through the portal opened near Lucas Ko to reach Super Mumu King’s location and defeat him before he invades Ragnadea and harms its residents. Since Super Mumu King is known for hoarding rare items, defeating him might reward you with something valuable!
Event Period
Once per day at a designated time, total of 3 times:

How to Participate
1) Move through the portal to reach Super Mumu King’s location (the portal is located near NPC ‘Lucas Ko’)
2) Defeat Super Mumu King
Prerequisites
- Quest [The Epic Showdown with Super Mumu King] can be obtained from NPC ‘Lucas Ko’ located in Ragnadea.
* Prerequisite — Complete ‘Talk to Lucas Ko’ in Ragnadea in the quest: [Event] Welcome to the 1st Community Test.
* The quest “[Event] Welcome to the 1st Community Test” will be automatically received upon entering Ragnadea after clearing the beginner field.
Event Rewards
• (Drop Reward) Random Outfits Chest(tradeable) for defeating Super Mumu King — Each Mumu King appearing on each day will drop a different Random Outfits Chest
• (In-game Quest Reward) 1x METAPIXEL(Quest item)
• (In-game Quest Reward) 2x Moro’s Surprise Keys
Notes
• Boss kills will only be counted if the player successfully attacked the boss at least once.
• The portals generated in Ragnadea can be interacted with by using the ‘F’ key.
• Super Mumu King will not respawn after being defeated
• The area where Super Mumu King is located, has multiple channels, and the boss appears in each channel.
• Each channel can accommodate up to 50–60 players, and once each channel is full no more players may enter the channel.
• The portal remains open for approximately one hour after opening each day. If you enter the portal and Super Mumu King does not appear, other players have defeated Super Mumu King already.
Event #3 — Cooperation or Competition
Event Description
Througout the world of Gran Saga: Unlimited, there are battlefields where players can compete against each other and prove their supriority. Game Director Nathan will be joining players and providing various on-site missions for more thrilling PVP action. Join in and become a legend of the battlefield!

How to Participate
1) Enter the PVP channel available after reaching Level 8
2) Move to the designated location on the map at the event time, and switch to the PVP channel(Chaos field)
3) Participate in on-site events hosted by the Game Director
- 11am, March 24 (UTC+0) : PVP channel(Chaos field) in Dragon Hill
- 1am March 25 (UTC+0) : PVP channel(Chaos field) in Temporary Docks
- 6am March 25 (UTC+0) : PVP channel(Chaos field) in Underground Memorial Park
- 11am March 25 (UTC+0) : PVP channel(Chaos field) in Dragon Hill
- 1am, March 26 (UTC+0) : PVP channel(Chaos field) in Temporary Docks

Event #4 — The Mumu Family in Trouble
Event Description
But aren’t Mumus monsters? Yes, they are! However, there are unique Mumus in the world who are friendly to humans. It looks like Mama Mumu in Ragnadea has been separated from her family and is looking for her scattered family around the world. How about helping Mama Mumu out?
Event Period
- 02:00 UTC 03/24/2023–02:00 UTC 03/27/2023
How to Participate
1) Meet Mama Mumu in Ragnadea and receive the quest [The Mumu Family in Trouble] which involves finding lost Baby Mumus scattered in various fields. Finding all Baby Mumus consists of multiple quests you need to complete.
2) There are a total of 7 Mumus to find (Ruby, Olive, Violet, Cobalt, Sunny, Mocha, Vanilla).
3) Except for Vanilla, which spawns randomly in all fields, each of the other 6 spawn within their respective designated field
4) If a quest target Mumu is found after having accepted the quest, interact with it using the ‘F’ key to obtain the quest item from it. This will complete the quest and make that Mumu disappear.
5) Return to Mama Mumu to complete the quest
Prerequisites
- Quest [The Mumu Family in Trouble ] can be obtained from NPC ‘Mama Mumu’ located in Ragnadea.
* Prerequisite — Complete ‘Talk to Lucas Ko’ in Ragnadea in the [Event] Welcome to the 1st Community Test quest.
* The [Event] Welcome to the 1st Community Test quest can be accepted by clicking on the ‘Mail quest’ icon on the bottom left of the minimap, upon entering Ragnadea after clearing the beginner field.

• (Drop reward) 1x Moro’s Surprise Chest for each Baby Mumu found
• (Quest reward) 1x Random Mount Chest
• (Quest reward) 1x METAPIXEL(Quest item)

Event #5 Retrieve Lucas Ko’s Letter!
Event Description
It seems that Manetooth from Chaos: Temporary Docks has stolen a letter that ‘Lucas Ko’, the Head of METAPIXEL, had written for the testers. Please defeat Manetooth, retrieve Lucas Ko’s Letter, and bring it back to him.

- 02:00 UTC 03/24/2023–02:00 UTC 03/27/2023
How to Participate
1) Enter {Chaos: Temporary Docks}
2) Defeat boss monster {Manetooth}, and obtain Lucas Ko’s Letter(tradable/sellable/destructible), dropped at random probability.
Prerequisites
- Quest [[Event] Retrieve Lucas Ko’s Letter!] can be obtained from NPC ‘Lucas Ko’ located in Ragnadea.
* Prerequisite — Complete ‘Talk to Lucas Ko’ in Ragnadea in the ‘[Event] Welcome to the 1st Community Test’ quest.
* The ‘[Event] Welcome to the 1st Community Test’ quest can be accepted by clicking on the ‘Mail quest’ icon on the bottom left of the minimap, upon entering Ragnadea after clearing the beginner field.
* Prerequisite quest — [Be a Pioneer]
Event Rewards
• (Drop reward) Lucas Ko’s Letter(repeatedly obtainable, can be sold at the store for a certain amount of gold) dropped with random probability every time player defeats Manetooth
• (Quest reward) 1x METAPIXEL(Quest item)

Event #6 Capture the Most Epic Combat Moment!
Event Description
Capture(screenshot) and upload the coolest game battle scene to the METAPIXEL Discord!
Selected winners will be rewarded with a METAPIXEL merch pack!
Event Period
- 02:00 UTC 03/24/2023–02:00 UTC 03/27/2023
How to Participate
1) Capture(screenshot) the coolest combat scene during your gameplay
2) Share the screenshot in the #best-combatscene-contest channel in the METAPIXEL Discord
Event Rewards
• 30 Crew3 XP for all participants
• METAPIXEL Merch box for selected winners: METAPIXEL zip-up hoodie, tumbler, badge, GSU mouse pad, 8 stickers
Notes
• Selected excellent works may be reposted on the METAPIXEL Twitter.
• Please make sure to reply to the ping message on Discord by METAPIXEL staff for Merch box shipping. Should there be no reply for more than 7 days, the prize will be forfeited.
How winners will be selected
1) The evaluation team is composed of 7 METAPIXEL team members and is structured as follows
- Game Producer x1, Game Director x1, Artist x1, Business Director x1, Project Manager x1, Community Manager x2
2) Evaluation Criteria
- How cool the combat scene is
- How well the combat system of GSU is portrayed
Event #7 Let’s hang out
Event Content
Nathan, the Game Director of Gran Saga: Unlimited, is visiting the Gran Saga: Unlimited world. Find Nathan near a specific waypoint and defeat the monsters he summons.
Event Period
- At random times throughout the 1st Community Test period
How to Participate
1) Find Game Director ‘Nathan’ who appears on maps such as Dragon Hill and Temporary Docks, and defeat the monsters he summons
2) Defeat the summoned monsters and obtain Lucas Ko’s Present Chest
3) Use Lucas Ko’s key purchased from NPC Lucas Ko in Ragnadea to open the chest and obtain gold, AP potions, outfits, mounts, and more
Prerequisites
- Quest [Let’s hang out] can be obtained from NPC ‘Lucas Ko’ located in Ragnadea.
* Prerequisite — Complete ‘Talk to Lucas Ko’ in Ragnadea in the [Event] Welcome to the 1st Community Test quest.
* The [Event] Welcome to the 1st Community Test quest can be accepted by clicking on the ‘Mail quest’ button on the ‘bottom left of the minimap’, upon entering Ragnadea after clearing the beginner field.
* Prerequisite quest — [Be a Pioneer]
Event Rewards
• (Drop reward) Lucas Ko’s Present Chest after defeating the summoned monsters
• (Quest reward) 1x METAPIXEL(Quest item)

• Monster kill will only be counted if player attacked the target monster at least once.
FAQ for In-game Events
1. How can I move to other channels?
In the game, you can move to another channel through the drop-down button in the upper right corner of the screen.
2. I can’t find the next main quest, what should I do?
If you can’t find the next main quest, click the icon button at the bottom left of the mini map located in the upper right corner of the game screen. Then the main quest may be listed there. Once selected, accept the quest.
